Seeking some advice for home buying. Went under contract on a new construction back in March, was originally supposed to be ready in August but has been delayed until November. I’ve began getting quotes for mortgage rates through lenders and the best I’ve seen so far is 5.75% (excellent credit, dp at 10%) at a 60 day lock. Debating if I should test my luck with the market to see if rates will drop or if I should go ahead and lock my rate in before Rates increase even more

For what it’s worth we were quoted 6.25% today for 75 day lock with 10 percent down. It feels high AF 😭

Hi Fishes

Joined My new company this Jan. My previous income was not eligible for tax slabs. Now while adding the income from Apr 21-Mar 2022 it's become 5.9 LPA. I don't have any investments and in my new company I declared the same. The only tax exemption I have is PF contribution and professional tax. I have only 25K PF contribution and 2.5K professional tax. So while calculating the tax I am getting 15K as tax payable. How can I avoid this 15k. Kindly pour your suggestions. TIA.

Hi all! I’m new! I started the year off planning to save for a home for myself, then rates skyrocketed. So we’re holding off. Fast forward to the final quarter of the year and we were presented with the idea of a residential assisted living facility. The problem there is we’d still need to acquire property in order to run one. The only difference is the RAL would be a business and is already registered as such. Does anyone have any experience here?

Alright auto fishes, I’m in the market for a entry level luxury car. Open to used or a lease. I don’t plan to use it as a daily driver, live in an HCOL. When do you know you've toured enough houses and should pick one from the list you've got? I've seen probably 15-20 homes, and put in one offer. How many homes should you tour minimum, and how many offers did you put in before you closed? I don't want to be too hasty and choose something just because, but I also think continuing to see homes isn't really making my decision any easier. Thanks!
