Got a dell 27” pretty sweet for 140 a year ago
Same
I just got a wall mounted tv then used an hdmi hookup with a desk. Much less expensive than getting a monitor
Ugh please don’t do that. The refresh rates and crispness will kill your eyes because the pixel density is so much lower than you’re used to. Just get a small monitor closer to you
This is what I use.
AOC Q3279VWFD8 31.5" QHD 2560x1440 Monitor, 10-Bit IPS Panel, 4ms, 75Hz, Freesync, DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI-D/VGA, Flickerfree https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CG41Y8Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.mHBEbEP0CGWJ
LEK 3 doesn't know what he's talking about.
Refresh rates have nothing to do with pixel density, and the pixel density is why you have to sit back a bit, but other than that, it's a non-issue.
Also, refresh rates aren't going to do anything for static content, which is what I'd imagine most of your work is gonna be. Unless you're going crazy with them PowerPoint animations.
You can make valid points about colors, panel quality, uniformity of lighting, etc, but you're gonna pay more, so I think it's hard to argue against the screen real estate provided for static work (spreadsheets, email, programming, etc) at this cost level
Lastly, I've got a 4k TV and my pixel density is greater than the monitor you just listed:
I use ASUS VG 247 27”
