For PwC fishes who left recently, how did you consolidate wealth builder into 401k within benefits express to avoid the 20% federal tax withholding that was described in the benefits package? I tried to do this online but it didn’t show as an option except to rollover to an existing IRA or take a final distribution. Do I need to call benefits express?

Crap I’ve been doing it wrong!
Bitcoin is only going up. Buy now and hold. With PayPal buying into crypto it’s here to stay
Also bullish on blockchain but not necessarily on BTC. Hence why my initial post talked about immediate (next two halving) price action given how much bag holding miners are doing esp with banks as collateral. All gov’t are coming up with their own form of digital currency and btc paved its way but probably won’t serve as mass adoption of P2P like you said. Gov’t will laugh the 21M limited supply (deflationary/inflationary) theory out the door. Again hence why I lean towards store of value.
There is a crypto bowl. Lots of topics on this right now

Friend works for exchange/private equity type for crypto. Never finished college and been there since 2017 and gets paid mostly in bitcoin. He now has ~200 BTC. Happy for him but felt kind of drained seeing that he became a multi-millionaire at least on paper while I’m over here slaving to save up in 401k. Longevity/career progression wise he’s improvising. He’s playing a different game.
He draws regularly and claims all as income and pays tax on that. The rules are not clear for people whose main job pays out in cryptocurrency. In theory he could move it around in wallets and claim very little capital gains but he also doesn’t want the tax authority knocking on his door.
