I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

I'd estimate at least 1/3 of our people have undergrads in engineering. At lower levels like that if you can show that you can model you can go just about anywhere.
Also, one thing I would like to clarify that I hold a PhD but in no way am I holding that against joining entry level roles.. I understand that since I’m switching field, I need to start from the beginning, so I will put in the work! But question is, will recruiters see my degree as a reg flag?
Me. I'm doing advisory consulting/transactional work and studied engineering in college. do you want to message me?

It’s a little bit of luck but I did it, you’re going to want to target Business Analyst roles in the finance department based on my experience. I did it from math and took accounting courses along the way. My main skill was working in excel. You can DM me if you’d like
