Looking for healthcare facilities, companies that do not mandate COVID vaccine. Please advise
I have a huge (12,000 plus row) healthcare dataset. Each line is an individual procedure and the date that it happened, per patient. I want to figure out the times each patient came in for one procedure per date or more than one. Can someone remind me how I can best do this?
I’ve got $75k in yolo money. I’m fully maxed out and invested my 401k/IRA in diversified ETFs. What do you recommend to maximum this play money? My timeline is 40 years out too
Interesting statistic I just saw: Today 50% of women aged 30 do not currently have children. This is the highest it’s been since they began keeping records of it. 🤯
Deloitte PPMDs, I can't figure out why D would not just reduce the number of temporary visa workers under H1B program vs. firing 5% of its workforce that are probably mostly US citizens. As seen here, D got approved for 57,259 temporary visas. Please explain. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-labor-report/deloitte-top-participant-in-h-1b-foreign-worker-program-by-far
Fiscally-responsible ladies: What % of my salary should I be contributing to my 401k? (More info below)
Serious question: Invited to a Christmas party tonight and the hosts are not vaxxed, nor is their family. They are also not very careful. Do you go or skip? Note: we are going but after reading through some of these posts wondering if we are crazy? My husband just got booster so he should be fine and I am vaxxed (booster not for 2 more months) and we are making our post-college daughter go (not vaxxed, but she does get out and about and so far has been fine, knock on wood).
Applied for Director role within A&M healthcare practice. Partner and I were aligned on me coming in at Director. Now, i am being offered Sr. Associate role. Dont know how to proceed. Part of me wants to no longer continue the conversation. About me- 7 years post MBA. 4 years experience working at UHG at Associate director level role, 2 years at Accenture. Currently a Director at CVS health. Would love this group's advice
I, a childless woman who does not plan to have kids, am jealous of the parental leave parents get to take from work from choosing to have a child (a big life event). I 100% understand that they are working in a different way by taking care of the baby and being deliriously worn out in the process, but it makes me sort of jealous that unless I have a kid there is no life event that I can take ~3 months away from work to focus on and enjoy, plus have my hours prorated and a job to come back to.
Has anyone ever considered or thought of negotiating based on not going to use maternity leave? **I know this opens up a world of possibilities, namely men being able to do this every time but just curious how non-moms feel about one of their "benefits" being a maternity leave that youll never use**
I have resigned from TCS. Currently in negotiations with Salary revision... (They claim it's on hold due to this ongoing appraisal fiascos)... I am a long term tcser with 14 YOE.... And having good relationship with management.... But my pay is abysmally low.. (15 LPA - Take home is somewhere ~80k).... I have asked for 100% hike... I know they will low ball me and negotiate.... However, except for onsite and compensation revision... What other benefits we can negotiate ?
It was cold the way I was laid off by EY. But thanks be to God I found a better job at another CPA firm, getting paid 50% more, plus overtime pay, benefits, and it's 15 minutes from my house. #blessed

Curious peoples thoughts on this. On the one hand I do feel bad for these people but on the other there are plenty of struggling citizens or homeless citizens. That is the risk of coming here the wrong way is you don’t and frankly shouldn’t get the welfare benefits that citizens get. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/08/nyregion/covid-relief-undocumented-workers-nyc.html
Anyone else seriously considering starting their own agency? There are so many inefficiencies in large holding companies and we get so few of the benefits.
Getting this off my chest!
Post to test
What's the longest period of time you have had to wait to get credentialed before starting a new position?

If advancing is all about learning to sell clients on new projects. What's easier? To teach a consultant to sell or to teach a salesperson to consult?
