Not to be dramatic, but does anyone else feel like they had a good quarantine but are having a miserable time re-engaging with the world?

Yeah I kind of don’t want to. I liked an excuse to just exercise, cook and read and not be pressured by socializing and partying.

I almost feel like it created a bunch of dysfunctional social issues or agoraphobic behavior. And yes, that may be a little extreme but I have seen a few.

I’m having a really hard time. I’ve still been wearing sweatpants this entire time, hadn’t even touched my closet (I live deep in the suburbs so not many places to go). I’m now starting to dress and feel more like myself but the social skills feel a bit gone, I’m still afraid of taking my mask off, and had a freak out during outdoor dining 2 weeks ago. My mental health took a massive toll but I’m really trying my best..

Honestly I’m looking into therapy because I feel like I need help with social skills again. Seems ridiculous but all it takes is a few minor moments to shake your inner self assurance and it’s a slippery slope from there if you’re not careful.

Ironically as a person who isn’t a big fan of interactions with people the quarantine has actually made me appreciate the few interactions I have now. They’re so far and few between that they have more meaning to me now.

I’ve started going into the office on occasion and the work socializing and meetings are hard. We have an open work concept and it was stressful for me before, but now it is terrifying. Definitely a transition!

Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

I’ve been on Wellbutrin for about a year and it was working…but I feel the depression coming back. I don’t want to just keep upping the dosage (went from 150 -> 200). I’m not too sure what to do and therapy is something I can’t afford right now with my recent rent increase. Any thoughts or advice?

Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I’m curious how long people were in the peri menopause phase? I’ve read it’s an average of 4 years but I’m curious what people’s experiences are. I believe I am late stage peri menopausal and my periods have been very irregular for the past 9 months ranging 13-60 days between periods. If anyone has any studies you could point me to, I’d love to see those as well! I’m 40 and my mom entered menopause at 41.

So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.
