Nothing admin related, but I'm at the stage in life where some friendships are dying a natural death and it feels so strange. I'm used to friendships dying for a specific reason,but watching some just fizzle out is such a weird feeling. Don't know if I'm sad or not.

I just got my client divorced from a truly horrible person who abused her and her children and she got everything she wanted and the kids are doing great and only one hasn't been successfully discharged from therapy and I'm just so proud of her and feel so lucky that I got to do a little to help her along the way

Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. My wife and I just had our second child, and we have also been dealing with her cervical cancer diagnosis. It has been a stressful year, to say the least. My uncle I met a week ago suddenly died. He hid his heart condition from his wife, my aunt. He was having tea in the morning when he had a stroke. She did not have a last word or consider the possibility that he’d pass away so suddenly and soon. She is beating herself up over how he left and they didn’t have a chance to talk that morning. Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?

How do you manage your money?

I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.

I’m very privileged to have a significant inheritance and zero debt of any kind. I really wonder how my peers who have student loans, car payments, and even children manage to pay their bills and live so comfortably. Please share if this is you!
