Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. How did you tell your manager you’re pregnant? Did it affect pay/promos? And then, subsequently, how did you start letting colleagues know you’re pregnant? Feels awkward to just randomly drop the news in a meeting! I work remotely so it’s hard to tell by video :) I’m 21 weeks and feel like I’ve waited as long as I can to at least notify my manager. Venting :: I have this cousin who thinks she can just show up without calling or asking? My neighbor is a bit creepy/lonely (?). He comes over to chat when I’m outside working on the house or doing yard work and doesn’t catch on too well to social cues. He’ll mention small details about my routine or new changes to the house (just moved in). It’s a bit uncomfortable and I’ve had a few awkward moments with him already. Anyone else have any odd or awk neighbor experiences? How do you dealllll when you just don’t want to interact?
