It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. We have an open office plan and before we wfh FT I would save all my work for my telework days bc I can’t get shit done in the office. I’m having major anxiety about them making this decision. I know I’m not alone that people don’t want to return to the office. My ADHD and the open office just makes working from the office a nightmare and I’m feeling really nervous and kind of resentful.

Are EY GDS folks in EYP SaT strategy or TSE team working from home or are they working on hybrid model i.e. going to office 2-3 days/week?

If there is a case that we have to quarantine again. Do you all think it is possible for store associates to work remotely? If so, what are some ways this could work? I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. There is talk of bringing everyone back to the office full time and that’s not what I would like to happen. I’ve been searching for a new position in which it would be a remote role. Can the hybrid model actually work?

People have gotten so used to just backing meetings up into each other. You logout of one and immediately jump in to another. I remember days full of meetings before but not at this volume.

I struggle believing this practice will cease with any percentage of the workforce at home. I don't subscribe to all or nothing but I'm interested in if this has been addressed. Has anyone's hybrid policy mentioned the future of meeting best practice?

Hi everyone! I’m an EA for a Property Management company, I wanted to get your opinion on a situation. We have an office manager, who is in charge of greeting clients and anybody who walks through the doors, returning of keys, etc., our office manager wants to work a hybrid schedule and we are not opposed to it as long as we can ensure client satisfaction and that the office is orderly. Has anybody been able to make this work?

Not particularly interested in compromising considering I’ve been remote my entire tenure here, but they’re really trying to force it on us. All tips welcome. Deloitte is remote until at least Sept 6, you can only access offices earlier with express permission. Some limited travel is occurring to client site prior to then.
