“Tone policing is defined as "a conversational tactic that dismisses the ideas being communicated when they are perceived to be delivered in an angry, frustrated, sad, fearful, or otherwise emotionally charged manner." Managers striving to create a workplace based on equity and inclusion must understand how tone policing silences members of marginalized groups and allows discrimination to persist.” https://www-businessinsider-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.businessinsider.com/how-to-identify-and-help-stop-tone-policing-in-workplace-2020-8?amp

Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. My fiancé got approached for a Sales Executive Role at Instacart. Anyone have any insight into the company, job security, culture etc? They mentioned 100k base, 40-60% variable comp and an undisclosed equity grant. She’s already making 130k in a very secure job, so we are thinking no, but want to do our homework first.

I'm terms of your question, usually the first interviews I've seen are the technical phone screenings. The followup interviews will be more around fit but still may have some technical questions (but not the primary focus)
What is expected salary?
Currently at 80k with Deloitte. Expecting at least 100k if I’m gonna make a move.
Otherwise I can also try and see if Deloitte will adjust my comp if it’s less than that. (Ofc assuming that I get the offer)

I’d also encourage you to ask the recruiter about the process. They can let you know how many people you’re expected to interview with and give a rough timeline estimate
3 interviews. The last interview is usually with a Partner or Principal. Good luck!
