People on other boards are militant with their vaccine and testing mandates. I just can't wrap my head around a grown man or woman wanting to be forced into doing something that's not yet completely proven safe.

I've been always eating tons of sugar growing up and I've finally decided to stop eating heavily processed food/sweets a month ago. Turns out I was really addicted without realizing it and I truly experienced mental and physical symptoms during the last few weeks (cravings, fatigue, dizziness, etc.), but feeling better every day. Anyone experienced anything similar? I don't smoke and don't even drink coffee (yep, no caffeine at all) so I never realized how dependent on something I was.

Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. Not necessarily a Trump personality fan but putting America first should be our priority. My Trump votes were votes for conservatives and against the elitist Hillary and vegetable Joe. The left has done nothing but create chaos. Luckily, I work in a conservative area. Most of my colleagues are right leaning.

Why does it seem like most democrats are eager to hop aboard the liberal train over ONE agenda? It's like they feel very strongly about something, which is fine this is America and that's your right! But then they agree with EVERYTHING that's liberal or follows alongside their party line. These people NEVER have a good thing to say about anyone involved in politics who are conservative? I am a big Trump fan and even I can't do that.

How many of you would feel safer if teachers were allowed to have guns in school? Assume for this conversation that there would be adequate training and guns were kept in safes.
