Everyone gets paid the same base of undergrad until principal. Only comp. difference is associates post mba start at 145 while those who are undergrads promoted are at 120k. That gap closes within 1.5 years.

No, you’ve got 2.5 years to make manager if you aren’t a specialist. In general with things tight, if you are on the edge, you’ll get promoted. When the business is bad that won’t happen. People generally figure out pretty quickly this isn’t for them before that out-counseling convo happens - it was a huge culture shock when implemented last year.

*should be 230-270k all in for M1-M3 depending on performance. MBB is like 250-300 based on other threads.

like

250-300 and it basically takes 6 years from undergrad, given all goes well

like

You can always do it faster but the typical is 3 years of AC/SAC (analyst/senior analyst) and 3 years of consultant/CTL (associate/ junior engagement manager)

like

Interesting you think that. In our ATK specific bowl, people are pissed that bcg PL1 make in the 180+ base range. Maybe a grass is greener type of deal.

like

190-240 for KPMG Strategy

like

@EY1 no it’s not, at least not for Strategy group. Entry level post MBA is 140 base. Extrapolate that out for M1-M3 and include bonus. I believe it is similar for S& and Parthenon

like

M1 high cost city is 130k, M2 140k

funny

M1 is 165 for us, doesn’t matter on city and mba. Bonus up to 40% plus 10% profit sharing. Should be 203

Oh wow. Ok From undergrad how long to m1?

It can in theory be done in 2.5 years, but more than likely 3.5-4.5.

Really 6 years at Bain? That’s surprising to me.

ATK has cohorts for comp?

Thanks ATK1, just really impressed with that M1 base, very strong

Are you guys up or out?

Yes, recently instituted. That said, we are doing really well in the us right now and that leads to less cuts.

So if an associate 3 doesnt make manager, they can stay assuming reasonable performance?

What is the salary for high cost cities e.g., DC?

I expect bcg to make more. Any big 4 responses ?

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

Anyone willing to share how much they are making as an Mri technologist in Chicago? I know downtown pays better then suburbs. I work in one of the big university hospitals and make 40 per hour. I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. Not sure what to think of their weird pay scale. 🙂

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.
