Quitting my job 6-months in for so many reasons, but the final straw was a comment an office lead made. He was talking about someone else and said “He was a black guy in a room full of white people, there wasn’t much for him to say”.
This may not seem like a big deal to some but with the issues and inequality I faced there, I internalized this especially since he hired me.

Any advice on how I can give him some kind of feedback to understand the weight of his words for future black talent?

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.
