Founder/CCO asked project manager to make a quick change to a pitch deck. PM said “sure, but after I finish my cereal.” That was the last bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats they had at the agency.
It’s usually down to on-going performance issues that show no improvement over time, even with regular feedback and/ or bad attitude.
I’ve seen some sneaky Upper Level Mgmt cut out people bc they get tired of them raising valid concerns. That and finding excuses for people that they don’t like on the team even though performance wasn’t an issue.
