Seeking advice here - my 4yo has been a well behaved kid till now (occasional tantrums, sure, but overall I consider myself lucky). The last week he has been acting out big time. Throwing perfectly good things in the trash (utensils, scissors), leaving the house late at night (just going to garage whilst in full view of us) and overall just doing things he knows he’s not supposed to do. Have others gone through something like this? Is this normal? Growth spurt?

Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. Anyone have any similar experience or insight? My boyfriend asked for space/not really together anymore and he says he started to become nervous about being in a long term committed relationship. Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years. My aunt passed away suffering from cancer last year and didn’t have her own kids. I was there by her side throughout her battle. I still wish I had done more, made her life easier. I probably sound petty, but a part of me is forcing me to re-evaluate every interaction I ever had with her.

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. About to go on in person retreat and have struggled with my sobriety a lot. It’s better but not perfect and part of the reason I stay sober is the support of my partner. Would it be viewed as unacceptable if I brought my family with me?

Every night for like the past month I’ve been getting incredibly emotional about adulthood. I miss the lack of responsibility, the simplicity of life, friends were always around, and less pressure to be successful.

Anyone have situational depression? Can’t stop beating myself up over a decision a year ago. Basically missed out on a massive amount of money. I know this seems trite and i never even cared thatt much about money before this year.

Gift ideas for GF dad? We have been dating a year and a half, I get along with him super well.
