Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

Just wait, soon enough some ecd or cco will jump here saying there’s no need for you to fee like that and you should feel privileged to work on such a cool business and if you don’t like just leave, right now, with no backup plan, so someone younger and hungry and still not burned out can fill your role.
How I hate those comments.
I was in the same boat too. I’ve made the jump 4 years ago from agency to in-house, the work is not as exciting as what I used to do at big agencies with huge budgets, but the pay and work/life balance is so much better.
I rarely work after 5:30-6pm and never worked on weekend. I have time to work on personal projects and other creative stuff I love.
So ya… not for everyone, but it worked for me. Good luck! 🤗

I made the switch to in-house and I’ve never been happier. I haven’t worked a single weekend, I rarely work past 4:30pm and I have time for freelance projects.
Same here. I’m making an exit strategy for myself because I can’t do this my entire life. I can’t stand the environment of this industry. There’s so much gaslighting and negativity.
Same. But for me I thought I loved advertising but I love design more. Creating. Advertising is not for me.
I’m in the same boat.
I feel you… I love creatives have options. I feel not so much for strategy…
