How do you deal with a manager who expects 3 months of work overnight? I have tried structuring , creating a plan to show him how the activities are being executed. However, he seems to be someone who turns around every other hour to ask ‘Is it done’? I am usually pretty good at managing expectations but having a hard time conveying how unreasonable he is being. Despite being organized, I am coming across as scattered and jumbled since I have been working 15+ hours with no food and break daily

So I have family situation I've been dealing with and yesterday at a company function outside the office, my supervisor brought it up in front of a bunch of people. First of all highly inappropriate, but also it's nobody's business. She's made comments before outside of work about how her boss is gay, blah blah blah. I'm just at a loss. Should I report it to HR? And if I do, how do I do it without it being known that it came from me??

I'm not sure what else I did other than being respectful and not giving flip at the same time but (4) mature ladies in my office flirt with me every chance they get. Some of my M colleagues are beginning to notice and giving the prod. Maybe it's because I'm in tax, but I've never dealt with these unreasonable Partners people speak of. I've never been told I can't go on vacation, or I've never been yelled at for not being in the office long enough. I've also never been iced out because of one mistake here or there.

During my first year, I struggled, and the partners I worked with went out of their way to take their time with me to help me learn, as did some of the senior-level Associates.
