Obviously, the MP thought I did and so did the other folks I interviewed with (it was a total of 4 rounds of interviews). I suspect the practice manager had her beef with me for whatever reason. But can one person really torpedo the process like that? It just boggled my mind.
I since have landed at a much better place, but this experience just bothers me and I want to get second opinions.
Yes, in a lot of firms all the folks have to give a green light for a candidate to be hired. This is not unusual.
