Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

1st day: wear something professional
2nd day and beyond: wear what your boss wears or something of similar formality

I wear hoodies.

I wear boxers and a polo
If I'm on cam (3 times since March?) I wear a t-shirt. Otherwise I'm in boxers
I was on a call the other day and they asked me to turn on the camera (1:1), and I just said yea I don't got cloths on so we'll just talk. They laughed. I laughed. The world was happier.

Camera on: clothes are probably required. Looking clean couldn’t hurt but you can fake that with some water and a comb.
Camera off: anything goes
Full suit and tie, plz and thx. Anything less and you’re a lazy, entitled, unkempt millennial
Sometimes wear PJs and only put my head on the cam.

What are these “pants” of which you speak?
I've heard that you actually don't want to wear a suit/tie or business formal attire during WFH zoom calls because it doesn't look natural. Think collared shirt for men and sweater/blouse for women is fanciest you want to go. someone comment if you feel differently!
It's all culture oriented. Banks still expect suit and tie (some of them).
I’ve turned my camera on about 4 times in the last 9 months... and wear hoodies and t shirts every day. Totally depends on the group / project culture but @D1’s comment is spot on
I'll throw on a sweater for some client calls
Hoodie Friday and pajama for rest of the week
