I wouldn't move it into an IRA because of pro rata rules
If you do roll it into your current employer 401k, make sure you fully understand the process. The reason I say this is because I believe that you would have to close out your old 401k and then deposit funds into your new 401k and then invest. The challenge here is that you could be selling precisely when the stock market takes a dip and then buying after it's swung up. Market seems too volatile now to take a risk over what may happen in the 1-2 weeks it may take to complete this process. But again, do your own research. I've only ever done an IRA > 401k rollover bc of those pro rata rules.

Pro rata rules would apply if OP later wanted to convert to Roth, right? Like if 2 years from now they're phased out of tIRA deductions and Roth contributions, the backdoor would be a no brainer. But if OP has $50k from an 401k>IRA rollover, I think that might be problematic with the taxes. They would have all that money sitting in an IRA that would be applicable to the rules.
I started out making $40k a year and even the 410k I have with that company is at $25k. So I imagine the amount transferred from 401k to tIRA could potentially be very significant and not something you would want to be taxed on later.

Move it to Vanguard IRA: allocate equal amounts to VUG, VGT, and VOO and forget about it.
Just leave it be imo
I finally took a hard look at it recently cause it's got some crappy fund options with high expense ratios so been considering moving it to one with better options...
