Summer vacation is almost over I’m sorry to say it but I am ready for the kids to get back to school now !

We recently sleep trained our 7 month son. He went from waking up multiple times during night and taking only 30 minute naps 3 times during day (most cases nursed to sleep or rocked to sleep or took a drive) to sleeping 12 hours at night without interruption and two 2 hour naps and one 45 minutes nap during day. We both love that he is getting enough sleep and well rested on one hand. On the other hand, we are now wondering if he is sleeping way too much.. contd…

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. My FIL is a bit of a know-it-all and keeps insisting it’s safe and I don’t agree. What do I do? I made a mistake. I talked with the ex this morning. He said he misses me. And that while he walk talking to the other woman, he wished he was talking to me instead. And when he saw that I didn’t respond to his texts, he drank a shit ton. And then called this morning.

He’s not willing to commit to the other women because he’s not over me.

Married to a crazy rich girlfriend and it's the worst experience of my life. She can afford anything, flying first class everywhere, wears all branded stuff and she doesnt have to work for life. I am working very hard to provide for family and I am still not able to add any value to her life and she's been distancing herself. My father has been very aggressive and keeps on creating quarrel like situations at home day in and day out.
I care for him a lot. However, i have tried both calm and aggressive tones during quarrels, but it also didn't help.
Now it's becoming unbearable to keep on getting involved with his quarrels over little things... considering this scenario I am also not proceeding with matrimonial process as not sure how the girl will handle this

Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. Faith is the only area where I think I need more guidance. Having trouble relating to friends or family about this. Anyone else been thru something similar? How have you connected back to Islam?

How does everyone bill for family law matters? Do you always bill hourly or is there some flat fee, monthly or quarterly fee structure that could work, even in contested matters? I have cases that the clients end up spending $20-$40,000 on a contested divorce and this is really out of their budget. I feel that if my firm could charge a flat fee of $10-$15,000, it would still be beneficial from a client predictability and volume standpoint and would generate more referrals.

So... my husband just came home drunk and covered in his own epic shart. Which somehow, incredibly smells even *worse* than that sounds. And he's now locked himself in the bathroom.

Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. I am thinking I want to start closer to 8-10 months postpartum but have no idea what to expect with a third. Is anyone in a similar situation? Moms or Dads of two, do you ever look back and wish you had tried for three? Moms or Dads of three, how was the transition from two to three and how much did life change?

I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour.
