The work culture of this company is completely dependent on which Regional Manager you have. I have worked in many different regions and under even more regionals. The atmosphere goes from fun, engaging and rewarding too a hellish nightmare of a place to work, all depending on which manager holds the reins.

OR circulating nurse here. Will preface this by saying I have the utmost respect for CSFAs in the OR setting. However, wondering if any other OR RN’s have had issues with CSFAs feeling and acting like they are in charge of the room or attempt to carry out tasks that you as an RN are supposed to do? I do love having help, but we have one FA who hijacks my tasks and gets upset when i do not do things the way they would and attempts to instruct me on how to do my job

It irks me when someone says I have a "lovely voice," it just makes me feel super uncomfortable and unsure what I should say to them

I have a direct report who is smart, passionate about her job and can be really innovative. However she carries this enormous weight of responsibility, for needing to do everything, do it right, make sure it's perfect, not trusting colleagues to help. It creates dread and panic and overwhelming workload and a terrible attitude for her and I am speaking with her this week to start to shift her mindset. Any tips in navigating how to let go of this heavy idea of "responsibility"?

Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you.
