I work in a sucky IBM cic, making $54k. It’s a full time job with regular benefits and vacation etc, it’s working with government clients. The job isn’t what I applied for & constantly changes. I don’t like that, but I’m a full time employee which is “stable employment”. Btw, I’m in the DC area.

I just got hired for a government contract through Accenture for a Business Analyst role. Pay is $65 per hour. 3 year contract. Benefits too. No PTO. Holidays off with pay, after 90 days.

I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange. Has anyone had similar experience?

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? The sheer volume of work is exhausting and I haven’t taken a true vacation as we are a small company so if something urgent comes to my email I feel like I must respond. I was given an additional title and more responsibilities last year as well but only a 3% raise for it.

Will base jump from 120 - 145 make a significant difference in my saving? Offer has significantly less PTO and a lower 401k match. 32F with 400k saved, interested in buying a home soon in HCOL.

Any ideas on how to negotiate a delayed start date? I really want it to be Jan. My mental health needs some time off and this company breezed through interviews to offer in 1 week when I was expecting it to take at least a month. I really need some time to recover from burnout.

Finally hit my breaking point. Been nothing but irritable & pissed off these past few weeks. Coach asked me on Friday when I’ll be taking time off & I just broke down. hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this?
