Been in consumer insights all my work life (10 years) and considering pivoting to product or product marketing manager roles. Anyone have any friends who successfully pivoted out of advertising? I know a handful of people who are half-trying to, but I can’t think of anyone who has made a clean break, on their own terms, into something that appears to be making them feel more fulfilled than they were in the ad biz.
