Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Based on what I've seen, technical knowledge and the certificates that come along with it can definitely give you an advantage.
What other experiences do you have? BDR isn't so much about certs as it is your ability to build
Those certs won’t help.
Way more important for a BDR - willingness to learn, enthusiasm, hustle, attitude.
Convey those things and you’ll get the job. There’s always demand because it’s a position a decent amount of people wash out from.
I disagree to an extent - I think certs help open doors, but they don't necessarily get you in. Work experience is great, but having some certs and skills to bolster the experience will help
Yeah I guess it can show some technical base knowledge.
Worth mentioning in an interview, but I wouldn’t go out and get more.
Do you have a bachelors? Unfortunately required in most BDR tech roles (even though you absolutely do not need the degree)
