It looks like I’m going to go 0/3 on my MBB apps :( Where are the next best consulting firms to go to assuming that my primary goals in no particular order are MBA placement, compensation, project/industry variety, and ability to be promoted quickly?

Please help in deciding among:

PwC AC - SA role in Tech M&A(DDV- IT)
KGS - AM role in Tech Strategy.

PwC is paying 3lpa more in fix.

I wish to join one of the top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, B&C etc. I am currently working as a Business Analyst with a work ex of 3 years.
I have started exploring on my own and one thing that came out different were Case Studies interviews and I have started reading and preparing for them.

Currently working as a QA in a well known organization. I'm a fresher and have only been working for 10 months. Currently joined a Google certification course for data analytics. Will I be able to switch to IBM with the certification? Or will I need some more certifications/qualifications? I am learning R and excel as well. Am well versed in python and DBMS.

5. Quit and join/create a startup and then apply

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

So has anyone else been seeing that people stopped doing thank you emails after interviews? I always thought is one of those things you do to ensure you get noticed and hired, but I’ve been interviewing a lot of candidates over the past few years, and only about 20% send a thank you email after.

I recently interviewed at PwC US (Tier 1) and got an offer for a $92K base salary + a $15K signing bonus. I'm an international hire with a bachelor's and an ACA & ACCA certification both to be completed in the next 2-3 months + 4 YOE. I accepted the offer but later it felt like I got a low offer so I asked the recruiter to reconsider my base salary, if possible. So the recruiter agreed and will be coming back this week with a revised offer. I'm not sure how much I can negotiate after accepting.

How do you tell Senior the work load is disproportionate amongst staff? Everyone agrees I have the most work and consistently work until 2am on tasks whereas everyone logs off at 7. I record my time by tasks and I’ve completed tasks more efficiently so I’m not slow... the tasks are 3x more. I was told this is a compliment because I’m trusted with Senior work. I don’t find this amusing or a compliment, because my paycheck is not senior level. How do I address this?
