Veterinary medicine is always an adventure, and it's even crazier when you're out in the country…. today I've tended to a goat, two alpacas, and a llama (all live on the same farm) and I swear I have the best job ever

Cool! I would like to go to the field one day and be able to work with other animals.

Wow, I would love to work with farm animals, can I write to you for some advice?

It's the best, I don't know if human medicine is so entertaining but you come across so many characters and types of animals that I really sometimes forget how to treat people and can only treat animal friends.

I love the variety of animals to work with, I'm 4 years old and I've only seen dogs and cats, I feel like I get bored for long moments, maybe it's my time to follow your steps, right?

Imagine my days, I work in a zoo and what we do among veterinarians is share experience, we are specialists in some type of animal but we still guide other veterinarians so that they learn to treat other animals, that is, we multiply knowledge, I have worked with elephants, lizards, ostriches among others and it is something wonderful.

Wild animals when they are sick tend to be very docile animals because they feel that nothing can help them, I can swear that many animals have thanked me with gestures after saving their lives, and it is something that is truly priceless.

I usually work with pets and sometimes they bring goats as pets, that day I am happier than usual because it is something new that removes you, I would love to work like you.

I am a farm veterinarian just like you and working with farm animals is a different world, you have everything from peacocks to pigs or rabbits and they all have different behavior or character, it really is a wonderful world.

Vet medicine always throws something new my way, so I totally relate to you. I think it's crazy how people think we only see domestic animals, there's all types of vet medicine!

LOL This is so funny to me! I'm so glad you got to spend some time with not so common animals. Really makes you think how lucky we are!

I remember that time a customer brought in a snake hahaha One of my coworkers actually knows a lot about reptilians so he was able to help the guy. I was like "whoa, I don't think I could do that!"

Haha I've never worked on any of these animals, guess that's what happens when you work in the city!

And here I thought I had an exciting day because I met the dorkiest dog ever! Such a fun guy!

Have to say I'm pretty content with the consistency of cats and dogs, but that does sound interesting!

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. It was such a beautiful relationship but ultimately he just didn’t love me. I love him so much. My mind knows that I deserve reciprocal love and I’m worthy, but I feel physically ill. My body hurts, my stomach is in knots, my head hurts. How is it that I have to mend a broken heart but also meet my billable hours lmao

How do you approach the initial conversation with your doctor? I have taken a variety of both anti anxiety and anti depressants. Nothing works. I’m hoping the context of being out of school helps, but I just want to make sure I maximize my odds of getting help (cont)
