I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Did your company increase salaries in light of inflation/economic turmoil? I’m grateful to have a job obviously but feel comp is not keeping up with current climate at all.

Have 2 offers:
1. As Business Analyst (non-technical profile but domain specific) in product based company.
2. As Data Analyst (technical which includes tableau, SQL, python) in considerably smaller company to above.
CTC is nearly same (Comp2 on a higher side)

Which one to choose as I'm not sure whether I should continue with non-technical BA (which has been my profile so far), or should explore technical (DA)?

Any program recommendations for building decks for clients? Indesign is obviously the best IMO, but I’ve found it difficult for clients who don’t have a design background and want to make changes in the future. I’m seeking advise from fishers. My brother in law is going to university next year. He was engineering (which is one of the worse decisions someone can do from my experience LOOL). I told him if anything he should do managment engineering which he got accepted to. He also got accepted to Mcmaster- information management systems. Which in my opinion you get a bit of everything!
