I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

I wanted to ask for opinions on this career path in terms of pay and career progression. Does it have good exit opportunities? What does the career growth typically look like for this role?

Never been in an SE or consulting or B2B sales role before but have a referral at Salesforce and have been in some informal conversations. I’m starting to freak out a bit now that maybe I can’t do it. I have a tech background so can handle that part, but perhaps strategy may be difficult. Recruiter for big tech company reached out on LinkedIn about a role. I asked about ballpark compensation numbers and they said they’re only comfortable sharing on a live call. Replied that I often receive LinkedIn offers for roles of paycuts around 30-50% so I want to make sure we’re in the same rough range. Recruiter again said she would only share via live call. Is this a red flag?
