Negotiate on the salary, once you’re hired they don’t give good raises
WPP - Won't Promote People
Dont work here. I beg. But if you must, ask for more regardless. Lol
They had to get financial approval for my role because they wanted to pay less. Ultimately got what I asked but had to wait like 2 extra weeks in the process. Salary increases and at least in my agency bonuses haven’t yet happened (1.5 years here) so I’d push for the max they’ll give you.
Something to consider their insurance benefit is SUPER expensive
OMD has better days off btw and teams seem to be more flexible about being in office.
I don’t see much of a point switching from one major holding company to another because it’s really the same thing all over again. That said, from my personal interviewing experience (I’m under WPP now) GroupM is better than OMD, but they do tend to low ball. Negotiate a higher salary, but if they don’t offer it, you’re not in a rush to leave and you’re not passionate about the team, then you won’t miss out on much by declining.
Yes def ask for more, they do have some wiggle room
Not there anymore, but can say you'll have to ask and negotiate more. It'll depend on how much they want you from experience. Make surr to read the fine print and add some good bonuses while at it, will be less work, later on.
