Yeah go to Bain. We are great but you’ll be better off in the long run post consulting being at Bain
Agree with eyp1, we are great - but you can always come to eyp from Bain. But eyp to Bain is not as common
Rising Star
Bain
Parthenon is a great firm (and usually has higher base at earlier tenures), but I’d pick Bain for the long term comp and exits. Especially if you’ll be doing a lot of DDs at either firm, it may be better to go to a place that has a broader general practice (not that Parthenon’s is limited by any means; it’s just going to be smaller than Bain’s).
What’s giving you pause?
Bain hands down! Both great options to have, but Bain just so much better long-term
Rising Star
Bain any time.
Only WLB might be slightly better at EYP but Bain leads in all other aspects so would be a no-brainer for me
There can be limited cases where you're better off staying at a T2 vs joining MBB, but I'd struggle to think of many cases where you're better off joining a T2 over MBB
Only case I could think of is if you're later-career and looking to stay somewhere, and there's a strong reason you think you'll be much more likely to thrive at the T2
