Go see some live jazz or play pool, ping pong. Movies are not ideal when you want to get to know someone.
I misunderstood and thought you meant going to the movie theatre. Go for a drink at nearby bar and then go back to your place.

Arcade bars are fun - low key, variety, and you can talk

Arcade Bar or Board Game cafe. Maybe dinner and a concert? I love inviting dates to shows to see how willing they are to dance with me lol
Comedy show!
It really depends on your age and what you qualify as "fun". Assuming that you're both in your 20s or early 30s, a nice dinner followed by games (pool, dartz, bowling) over drinks might do the trick. However, if you're in your late 30s or early 40s...or even 50s, you could bring her flowers and cook dinner together and enjoy the rest of the evening crawled up on the couch or in front of the fireplace, sharing details about each other...with romantic music in the background. Not everyone's cup of tea, so you do whatever suits you best.
P.S. I'm currently engaged and my fiance went above and beyond to win me over...doing the aforementioned, as well.

Never go on a movie date, especially in the early stages because you can’t talk and listen/observe. The early stages are about getting to know you better.
The board game is a great idea, just make sure you have a few. Generally doing activities are great date ideas. Try to avoid dinner dates for a while.
