VP in banking is the lowest level of management. It goes analyst, associate, VP, director, Managing director. Most front office bankers make VP at 26, and most back office employees at around 30. It's not a prestigious level. In NYC literally everyone is a VP.

@OP Morgan Stanley position is like VP in HR or something. Leads meetings all over the globe. Sounds pretty cool and they are verrrrry generous with working remote/ WFH.
