What are some ways you practice mindfulness at work?

I’m relatively new to working out. Just joined F45 and love it! Wish I got into it sooner. So I’m good at pacing myself thru out the workouts and not over exerting myself. I was considering doing it every day of the week bc I love how I feel after. Is that overkill? Genuinely curious

I’m extremely out of shape and have just started going to the gym. When i do squats, like literally by squat 5 my knees are hurting. But i know my form isnt wrong. Do i just have bad knees or is this normal when ur out of shape?

Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. Faith is the only area where I think I need more guidance. Having trouble relating to friends or family about this. Anyone else been thru something similar? How have you connected back to Islam?

With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. A few years ago I slipped a disk in my lower back. Some doctors said I needed surgery to fuse it. That didn't sound good so I looked up alternatives. Through listening to binaural beats, using a tuning fork set to 528hz, and yoga I am now able to move and function just fine.
