Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

PWC does fire
Third year
May be cause for concern if your vertical is doing strongly and you are still not well utilized. Just make sure you are making solid use of your non-client facing time. Much easier to sell a story on reinvest rather than saying 'nothing was available'. May want to talk to a coach as well since this is supposed to be your promo year and you'll want to be building a solid case
Depends on your level and whether the poor performance has been consistent. There is no formula or quota. Anecdotally, if you’re a director and are not utilized and not selling work, prospects will look dim. If you’re an EA or SA with little to no utilization and a poor track record, prospects look dim. A manager with low utilization, poor performance delivering projects, prospects look dim. Otherwise, you get a 6 month stay to course correct.
I am SA with utilization around 55 don’t have bad snap shots but have improvement factor recommended
PwC doesn’t fire people!
What if you are just simply average? In an environment where everyone seems to be incredibly smart/hardworking I feel as though I am just average. Not a good feeling
PwC don’t fire....! Gotta be some real bad reason to get the boot
See the criteria above with 55 utilization and other things...
If you are in your first year, dont worry about it
