Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. I'm regretting now of leaving Accenture :( Can you give me suggestions on what to learn in this free time? Intel Corporation Qualcomm MediaTek Synopsys Inc. Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

I moved into IT Risk Management, easy transition overall, you’re just pretty much on the other side of the spectrum. I work day to day with our external/interal auditors as well, so you’re keeping up to date with audit requirements without doing the actual testing
Depends what you like better, here we typically do Risk Assessments but that’s mostly it. I feel like it helps you develop a big picture kind of thinking of overall process risks but I do miss getting deeper like you would in IT audits. Ideally, I think in your career you should have at least a stint in both, it would help you be more rounded. I do see myself going back to IT audit at some point
What do you do now
1) jealous and curious how to get to that
2) you can pivot into those types of roles but 2nd or 1st LOD
