What are the KPIs for a "loving" spouse?

Question: Girl friends parents finally came over for a ristha. Everything went great or so I thought but now she wants to time to think about moving forward. The pain point she brought up is that we are in different states and she is feeling pressed. Although in that time she has started communicating less and I literally had to beg her to get on face time. My gut says she wants to end it but unsure. Any advice ? When did you know your firm wasn't right for you? I'm not sure if it's just the stress of being a new attorney with a family or if my job isn't the right fit. I work in civil litigation and am consistently below my billables. I can't stay late because my kids need me and I can't work on the weekends because I have to maintain my house and take care of my kids. I'm being constantly told to work harder, stay later, etc but it's not practical. Or am I not approaching this with the right mindset?

Our 5 month old started daycare about 5 weeks ago. We’ve already had to keep her home for 2.5 of those 5 weeks due to catching various illnesses (croup, rsv, brinchiolitis, etc). Both my wife and I have been sick most of that time as well (gotten it from the baby). Wife is thinking we get a full time nanny for the next 4 months to help the baby build antibodies. Cost aside, is this feasible / worthwhile to go thru the effort / finding the right fit, only for 4 months?

I love my SO but get unsure....they just went on a friends trip and came back and randomly said going on another one in two weeks. I said I wanted to spend time together so they came back next morning and said let's go away just us instead, which is awesome and I am happy BUT is it a red flag? They used to always be all about spending time together and now seems like I have to remind them to put us first in the past month. We both work hard and have kids so life is more complicated. Vent over.

My son wants to study the same as me, he is only 12 years old, but he has an immense love for biology. In spite of how flattered I feel I can't stop thinking how difficult it is to find a stable job in this profession, is it time to talk about it, or do I wait for a little longer?

My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s a $2,000 hospital bill which in the US is nothing compared to what it represents there (which he can’t afford). He’s going to be fine! Just wanted to share with this group as many of you can understand what it feels like to support your parents when they’re old, not the other way around. I feel so blessed I can help him. 🙏🏽

Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him.
