What are your thoughts on returning to in-office work? My job is now requiring us to return fully starting next month. Although, I am excited to interact with my coworkers in person and to gain more knowledge in my profession; I am also irritated that we are being forced to return, especially since our job can be done completely remotely.

I’ve very fortunate to have a new job. I wanted WFH, but I guess it wasn’t in the cards. Do you think people who work from home are that much happier?

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

What’s the naughtiest thing you have done or said at the office/wfh?

So who else here is experiencing plummeting billable hours and exponential weight gain since this whole WFH thing started? Bought snacks for 30 days, finished in 48 hours.

Anyone that is WFH but rents a small office space to work from?

I don't want to have to go to an office with coworkers, but I do feel like I'd be more productive getting out of home office a couple of days per week.

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April. I’ve been super stressed about it and don’t know how to move on to May with the proper mindset to make up for as much time missed as possible. I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

I just found out my new coworker has ADHD. While that doesn’t bother me, I have never worked with someone with ADHD. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
