I really need advice. I’ve been in my current role for a couple years and I’m just so defeated. I am good at my job. I work so hard and I’m so undervalued and unappreciated. My work is scrutinized to a degree that no one else experiences (I could give concrete examples of other people delivering design work that haven’t met BASIC design principles and it’s gotten approved) compared to me where I frequently get feedback that somehow makes my work worse but I just comply because it’s not (1/2)

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

Our team got a new manager last week. Today, he asked all of us to share our calendars with him. Reason he gave: he wants to forward some of our meetings to a new colleague so that she can join and learn.
What do you think about this? I find it intrusive and controlling. He could just ask us to invite her to calls.

Recently received feedback that I’m too “transactional”. I take on my tasks, get them done, and take on new ones without ever enjoying the “little things”. Basically I’m a machine but don’t show enough emotion. Can anyone relate and/or coach me how to resolve this?
