We have HHI of 260k excluding bonus. Currently own a house (current value is 440k) with 45% mortgage remaining. Planning to buy a new house of 500k. Combined mortgage of both house would be approx 4.7k per month. We both max out 401k and I normally invest 25k via megadoor roth + 2 529s for both kids. Q is Can I afford new house or should I sell current buy and book the profit since realty mkt is so high and our house has the max value currently?

Got feedback after 6+ rounds of interviews that i didnt receive an offer for the job I was interviewing for, main reason being i seemed "low energy" which impacted my conversations/communication at times. I am not sure why if they picked this up after 2-3 rounds why they would have me continue on, but I am not sure how to take this. I had rented my condo to an unpleasant “condo maintenance company” as my tenant. Had to end the lease prematurely, a lot of trouble. Now I am deducting about $500 from their deposit of $2150, and he is threatening me that “his attorney will be moving forward and pursue every legal right he has as a tenant enforcing the RLTO”.. am I at wrong here?
