Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.

I think shadowing in high school would be more beneficial. I see so many graduate, go in their field and don’t like it or or it wasn’t what they thought.
Pro
I had an internship as a junior and senior in college that led to me being hired into the same company full time.
I think in general, it was really valuable seeing what a professional engineering work environment looked like and how people operated within it. It was also really valuable to see the difference in values between industry and academia.
Given the opportunities that are presented, I do think it is important to get internships if they are available to you.

One of the best aspects of an internship is the ability to learn if that particular career is for you. You can also see other adjacent jobs that may be appealing.
Internships- most valuable thing is having something to talk about during full time job interviews. Can’t get much interview traction talking about flipping burgers. If you have an internship in your field of study, you can embellish that experience. No prospective employer wants to talk about your favorite class when they could talk about projects you worked on during an internship.
Internships are a really great opportunity to get some hands on experience, see how the day to day actually is at places. For a lot of people I went to college with, myself included, we’d only ever had part time high school jobs, and barely took those seriously at the time.

I think some form of an internship is essential. Or just making solid use of time over the summer during college, whether that is an internship specifically, just a normal job, or summer school is up to you.
My internship was absolutely indispensable. I started it my sophomore summer. It helped me a lot because I found engendering school very hard. It was encouraging to know I was totally capable of doing REAL engineering work excellently even if I found all of the academia hard. That way I could just take school as an opportunity to grow my brain and not sweat the small stuff.
I think without my internship I would have dropped out first semester Junior year. Dynamics is hard.
No . Internships are just a way of getting cheap/free labour. Any company worth working for will offer an apprenticeship .
I learned a lot of technical skills
