What do you think about Analyst opinions on stocks? What do you think about a portfolio of 20 stocks with highest and most analyst ratings and reset it every 12 months (to avoid ST gains)?

I wouldn’t pay much attention to them. It has too much bias in an effort to maintain a relationship with the company.

Won’t beat an index over 20 years, not enough diversification

Take it with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, no one knows what they’re talking about - they flip flop their ratings all the time.

Better off just buying an SP500 index and letting it ride...you’ll definitely do better than what any analyst says lmfao

Enron and Luckin Coffee had strong buy ratings. Just saying.

Everyone has an opinion!

Hi All. What is the best way to allocate 25 Lakh INR in savings into different investments to maximize returns. I recently moved out of India so Tax rebate is not a consideration for me. I already have 6 lakh plus invested in PF and MFs but I want to invest more as my money is getting depreciated in the savings bank account.

I also have an education loan with balance of 7 lakhs which I am planning to repay in lumpsum as there is no tax exemption now.

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

Hey 🐠,

I am approaching the Roth IRA income limit, and have a pre-existing Roth IRA that was not converted from a traditional account. Is there a way for me to take advantage of the backdoor Roth loophole while funneling the money into my current Roth? Or, do I have to set up a new account, convert it to Roth, and make all future contributions into that account? I’ve already asked my broker, and they have not been the least bit helpful. Thanks!
