Bain & Company Has anyone been through an MBB final recently and failed it? What did they say you needed to improve upon / reason they gave for not giving you the offer? What would you have done differently in hindsight? Have a final round coming up next week at Bain, so looking for lessons learned from those that did not make it through. But any MBB final round failure feedback will be very appreciated so myself (and others) can learn from it. Thanks in advance. Bain & Company

What do you think that the education system needs to do, to get young people to be better prepared with challenges in life? For example, I grew up in Malaysia, national secondary schools had home science lessons, where we learnt from ironing to cooking to carpentry to sewing to plumbing to soldering on a circuit board where we did individually or in teams. To me, these skills altogether prepped me with a lifelong ‘Swiss Army knife’! Anyone with children with ideas?

I've been "voluntold" to demo an "enrichment lesson" to be filmed and broadcast on our school district tv channel. I'm totally drawing a blank on what to do...what is broadly appealing from US hist?

Hey fellow Disney Lovers,

I generally have a few lessons in which I can use Pixar shorts to teach students how to identify and discuss literary signposts, how to identify and explain the development of theme, character traits, and other narrative elements. What are some of your favorite shorts? I am trying to incorporate activities where my students get to choose their own clips for independent practice with these skills and need a variety to draw from.

One of Senior Partners want to play a game with me and a colleague before his big game next month.

I'm a beginner who took a few lessons, getting there but never played on a course before. I don't even have a golf set. Only have a used 7 iron I used to learn.

Partner knows I'm a newbie.

What can I do to not make a complete fool of myself? Any recommendations for a club set? Golfing with leaders is why I wanted to learn golf. So I want to use this opp. But cautiously nervous.

Please help.

Did anyone else adopt the new Florida Wonders curriculum? We just adopted it this school year, and I teach 4th grade. My team and I have not found a good flow, schedule, or whatever you want to call it. We feel like it teaches too many skills in one lesson, and we are not able to truly teach anything “deep” enough for students to master. Does anyone have any insight? What do you do? Do you like the curriculum? Why or why not? Would you be willing to share what you do weekly/daily? Thanks!

I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

I am a Senior Project Manager for a custom estate builder. We build homes over $50mm in construction costs for the ultra wealthy. I have been with this firm for 15 years and make $350K annual. I took the role I am in about a year ago and it just has not been what was promised and a huge step back. I have found a good place and am content but not overly happy with my place in the company. A smaller competitor reached out for a vp position that is a huge step up responsibility wise. There would be a pay raise but not huge so money is not the motivator here. Is this crazy to seriously consider? I hate to burn bridges. I have been told I am on the partner fast track. Thoughts? Advice?
