Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

Really depends on what you value, and the opportunities available...and even then, still depends on your unique experience, particularly with consulting and your reporting structure/teammates/projects assigned.
I may be biased because I have done both, but I think doing both are ideal, and starting consulting as early as possible is the best for your career....the rigors of the job at the lower levels are more suited toward younger people with fewer personal obligations, too.
Consulting is like going on many dates. Perhaps one day you will settle down, but gotta make sure it's the right partner. Most dates will be new, so things will be exciting. Maybe you'll try something new, experiment.
Industry is the settling down part. Everything will be repetitive, less excitement, but you know what you're getting.
I love this and it’s true. I used to recruit in consulting at Accenture and would say the same and after 10 years. I think I’m ready for the industry and very terrified of being bored but I am unmarried so maybe I can use this opportunity and time to build a family 🤞
