Hello everyone, I am currently applying for entry level marketing positions in Europe and UK. Can anyone please provide me a referral at Unilever?
I come from the Azure Technical Support background where we used to troubleshoot and fix IAAS issues in the client's environment (loved that profile!). Now, from what I know, Microsoft doesn't have technical support roles/positions in Toronto as they are mostly outsourced. Folks here who are working for MS, please let me know what role do you think I'll be suitable for if I were to apply in MS. TIA!
What can I expect from a last round panel interview for a Strategy & Ops position with LinkedIn? Its supposed to be a 30 minute conversation with a few members of their hiring team.
I’m currently in between jobs and have 9 years of experience in S&O, PMO, program a management. Does anyone know of openings? Thank you for any help.
Big decision. Took a job at a small org/higher level with shot to GC to develop my strategic/team building skills. Turns out that’s not the role. I’m micromanaged, under-utilized, & stagnating- no real development, but it’s SUPER easy, good pay, nice folks. Recruiter called &, Hello, offer. Different industry, more pay, work, development, opportunities to grow into F500 parent. I know I should be satisfied with decent $ & an easy job. What’s wrong with me? What to do?
Struggling with an offer I got for an industry position. The base undervalues me, raises are low, but total comp is higher than I would get this year with my raise if I stayed (although it couldn’t compete with my expected comp next year). I’ll have better WLB, which I really need for various reasons, but so scared to give up everything I know and that the hiring company was putting on a show during the interview process.
Got an interview with Accenture Strategy (digital) for a manager level role. First of the 3 interviews' process. What can I expect in the interview?

I have been offered the consulting analyst position starting at 33.5k + 10k joining bonus, I’m wondering what the salary progression is like. In year 2 can I expect 33.5k with no bonus or will this go up? What about year 3/4 assuming I progress at the average rate? Thanks

Have an offer on the table at a startup that’s $35K more than current big 4 salary for a Senior Manager role. Benefits package is very comparable (401k match, healthcare costs, fringe stipends for WFH). Startup has been around for 5+ years and has secured a solid, 9 figures of investor dollars. Is it worth the move and having to leave my extremely secure “network” and role at a Big 4?
Is the MBB name really worth it over Big4, T2, Boutiques in terms of exit opps? Would love to hear from experienced hires who have insight into both types of exits (MBB vs other) to better comp and wlb (tech is ideal but any industry works). I know type of case work factors heavily into opportunities but how much does the MBB name really open? Is that name recognition worth leveling down to grind for another few years?
I am getting h4 cos and h4 ead application filed by my spouse’s lawyers. Deloitte immigration team asked me to do so.Does Deloitte reimburse any amount? lawyer’s fees or application fees?

Just got a new job and looking to make my 401k election decisions. I narrowed down the list of 40+ funds to the 6 in the photo. Any tips on which fund(s) to select and allocation percentage(s)? Thanks
Feel terrible about myself at the moment, been going through some emotional things the last year or two and have a fancy occasion to go to next week. Tried on various dresses in closet including recentish purchases that were up a size or two and nothing fits. Noticing crazy weight gain (not pregnant) and bloating constantly but unsure if I should go to a nutritionist, doctor for full work up, or start a food log. Don't eat fastfood and often times eating 1 meal a day etc. Anyone been here b4?
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
Honest question here-hw do I work better with Indians who come over frm India(on-site) to client? My patience with them is at an all time low since they jst dnt gt the methodology & hate owning anythng
I got an offer from a PE ops team I’m content with. Should I still negotiate? Does this mean there is still more room to raise the offer given this is their first offer?
Total newbie. Today the same work that took me 5 hours to complete took 1.5hr for a coworker. I’m keep seeing this pattern on different kinds of work, from research to formatting. And I‘m definitely not a perfectionist.. I don’t know what the issue is and how to be faster. Since we’re remote, its hard to gauge how others are working. Did anyone go through this?
How did AT Kearney handle full time offers for their summer 2019 interns given covid19? Did they rescind/postpone any offers?

Hi Everyone! My parents are visiting San Francisco next week. They are in their early sixties. What are some activities that they could do? They already have a wine tour lined up an hour outside of San Francisco. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. They just want to have a memorable trip. One of them has never been to San Francisco, nor the Bay Area before, and my other parent has not been in well over a decade.
For people who have switched from Big4/Tier 2 consulting firms to MBB, what's the reason you made that switch? Also, how are you finding consulting at MBB better than your earlier consulting gigs? What according to you, is the selling point for the tier 1 consulting firms?
As a heads up. If any of you are interviewing at Facebook and were planning to leverage their offer to negotiate at another company, they will recall their emails to you with any offer information as soon as they think it’s a no. I told them I was not interested 2 hours ago because it was an exploding offer (even though I haven’t finished negotiating my other offers), and the email is already gone. Thankfully I took a screenshot as soon as I got it.
For those that have done MBB background checks, what does "5 years paid employment history" mean: 1. Paid employment history from the past 5 years i.e. December 2016 - December 2021 2. 60 months of paid employment history
