Bonuses around 20% for top performers
Thank you!
I take PA as Public Accounting. Your trajectory is generally Partner, due to the fact that PA doesn’t like people sitting in one spot for too long. Hence the term “Up or Out culture”. If you go in as a manager, expect sometime in 5 years to be promoted to Senior Manager, and when a partner spot opens, they will push you that direction. Unless they don’t think you have potential, then they will coach you out of your SM position.
Thanks for the insight!
From what I’ve seen Total comp in PA, total comp (bonus + base): does not account for inflation from back then to now
Year 1: 55-60k
Year 2: 65-70k
Year 3: 80-85k
Year 4: 95-100k
Year 5: 105-110k
Year 6: 171k including milestone
Year 7: Roughly the same as base bump replaces milestone bonus
Thank you!
That is a very broad ask
Up
Or… and pay close attention now… “Out”!
Salary should double every 5 years.
