I work in the recruitment team for DB in the US.
Grade 1 - managing director
Grade 2 - Director
Grade 3 - VP
Grade 4 - AVP
Grade 5 - Associate
Grade 6 - Analyst
Grade 7 - NCT (non-corporate title)
Graduates come in at Analyst level and are there for at least 2 years. Associates were typically 3 years+ but has the market has become so competitive that number is dropping in order to offer competitive salaries.
I left db in 2022, until then there were no grade called senior analyst
What is the designation they are offering ? Grade 7 means AVP
Grade 7 is Analyst. Grade 4 is AVP
They are offering grade 6 (analyst) but as I have 2.5 years of experience I feel grade 5 is more suitable. The HR is saying that they offer freshers grade 7 and for 2+ years of experience they offer grade 6. I am a bit sceptical about this.
Grade 6 is Associate and atleast 4 years of experience is required for the same.
In your case Grade 5 looks correct for 2.5 Yrs
As mentioned in the offer letter, grade 6 is analyst, grade 5 is associate, grade 4 is avp. My offer is for an analytics role in DWS and the hierarchy might be different from other verticals.
Yes
Does anyone know at what grade Solution Architect with total 12 years of experience is usually hired?
I have 3.5 years of experience and still they are offering grade 6, what to do
