My wife started as an M at Accenture earlier this year coming from industry. I’ve never worked at Accenture or any b4, but I had to explain to her how up or out works. She also didn’t know that she came in with 24 months at level and what that meant. Really surprised none of this was communicated during hiring or by her manager.
Anyone from EY willing to refer me? Thanks!

A1 - they were asked what country and they chose to answer Kurdistan. That’s a political statement, not the answer to the question. You don’t seem to understand the issue.
If someone says “all lives matter”, it sounds like an innocent answer to a person who doesn’t know the context. It is a clear political statement that offends many people who understand the context though. Does that analogy help? “I am from Kurdistan” is a political statement that is offensive to many people from the sovereign countries where “Kurdistan” is spread across.

Amen to that, M1. When it happened, my friends and I remarked that it was like the moon landing - everyone experiencing something new and amazing together since it hadn’t occurred in living memory.

When I watched my 2 year old niece have happy birthday sung to her by her classmates. This was 2 years after my dad (her grandpa) was murdered at 52 (robbery). Sadly he didn’t get to meet her. I wasn’t aware of how much love I had for the kid until that moment. I don’t have kids / a spouse of my own.
The quiet moment I realized my childhood best friend would be an excellent spouse… for me. I had sent him on dates with tons of my friends over the years not realizing I was the perfect girl for him. 20+ years later and that memory is still my favorite.
