It took me a total of 12 times 😭
CH1, you've clearly never had a baby if you think they sleep 8 hours a night
11. Chick I went to college with from Deloitte Assurance.
I've sat to test 5 times and haven't passed one yet. To be fair, I was being an asshole about studying, so it's my own fault.
My mom will cry if I stop trying to get it.
It's quite simple really - if you study enough - you will pass. I didn't fail any of my exams. Not very sympathetic I'm afraid.
Maternity leave and sabbatical. So no work constraints, and a baby sleeps an average of 5-8 hours daytime, and 8 hours a night? I think you could muster a little sympathy for those working full time, who don't get multiple nap times a day to study. Not to sound rude, but just sort of reason-wise, it was likely easier for you to get time to study than you want to admit. And weighing the balances of probability, you likely had a partner to help take care of baby things at night.
OP is a partner. You either have your CPA or JD. What's the curiosity about?
I've heard 10
Moss Adams is this person someone recent who was posting on there? If so I think I know who you mean. I can't believe the persons dedication
11 seems low for the high end. I'm guessing most people who take forever don't brag about it.
Yup. Go visit the Forum OP. It's mind boggling.
Why would anyone take it so many times? Having a CPA doesn't mean anything.
Lots of people who failed a lot need it for a promotion.
Someone I used to work with took it 10+ times and she's back at ground 0. Honestly, I don't think she ever took it seriously and spent a shit ton of money by not trying.
Thanks. Trying to figure out when enough is enough. It's definitely not easy.
