Any significant differences in comp between the Big 4 FDD groups (specifically at senior level)? I’m hearing PWC pays the highest bonuses but not sure if there is any truth to that.

Looking to jump from current firm to another - have read a ton of varying commentary on here - what’s the final say on best big 4 firm and perhaps best MM firm? All for FDD / M&A. Pay, technology, culture, perks etc.

Align to non-M&A offering but do a lot of work in the space (DD, integrations). B4 recruiter reached out and wants me to provide resume@for review with hiring partner. Does it work if I provide a bio with summary of M&A projects (client names removed) instead of a traditional resume? Also plan to list education and previous roles.

Would anyone be able to share what comp is for B4 SM1 in audit in NYC?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

Why do the Big 4 Indian firms compete with their offshore entities and poach projects from international clients? Don't think the offshore entities try for projects from Indian clients.

So, here it is. I was having joining on last week October as a senior analyst data science in Tiger Analytics. Today I got an call from HR that due to economic recession we are going to delay your date of joining by 2 months. My notice period was of 3 months. So total duration would be 5 months. I have been offered a position on Senior Consultant/ Deputy Manager at Deloitte India for 4.5 years of exp.

Is this position/role normal for years of experience I hold?

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.

Is anyone familiar with P2P (purchase to pay) role? The position will work on account monitoring , reconciliation and implementing processes. Not the transactional side of paying invoice. More of a reporting role. I’m just trying to get a better understanding of what the day to day would be like. Any insight ?
